The scientific journal The study of Security is an annual publication that publishes original research results in the field of security sciences. The annual is published by the Scientific Publisher of the Pomeranian University in Slupsk as part of scientific notebooks.

The subject area of the journal is devoted to national and international security in the areas of: social security determinants, security theory, legal security, external and internal security, security engineering, education for security.

The nature of the annual is open, which means that it can contain articles from authors from domestic and foreign centers. The journal can also publish student texts if they meet the criteria of a scientific article.
